New (to me) Cards Blogs

Fungoes which is the Blog for the Bob Broeg Chapter of SABR.
Broeg joined the St. Louis Post-Dispatch in 1945 and became sports editor in 1958. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and the only person eligible to vote in the elections for the baseball, pro football, and college football Halls of Fame. He has authored nine books, including the popular Redbirds: A Century of Cardinal Baseball. In honor of his many contributions to baseball, the St. Louis chapter of SABR is named for him.
The other is Card Nilly, no obscure references in that title I can find, but I am a little curious about where the title came from.

First of all, Griffey's homer came in the 6th---not the 8th---and second, it tied the game at 2.
Upon closer inspection, it doesn't appear as if it's actually Broeg's blog; it's the Official Blog of the St. Louis SABR Chapter, named "The Bob Broeg Chapter."

As for LL Cool J, well, my excuse is ... well, I guess I don't have an excuse. ;) None of the posts is subject to Mr. Broeg's approval, so he'll be held harmless for any inappropriate invocation of old rap lyrics.
