Don't stop believin

« I can't wait | Main | Always a Bridesmaid »

Sometimes last night's leftover dessert becomes today's appetizer. I'm sure many have already heard these, but I had to post them just for the record.

Pujol's mythical swat again:

What Astros fans heard.

Crazy like Fox.

Larrrrrrrrrrrrrgo!

Shannon tells it like it is.

ESPN.

Finally, in order to redeem myself for even mentioning Phil Collins, I've taken a page from one of the finest bands to ever rock hard and sing high:

Workin hard to get my fill,
everybody wants a thrill
Payin anything to roll the dice,
... just one, more, time

Some will win, some will lose
Some were born to sing the blues
Oh the movie never ends
It goes on and on and on

Don't stop, believin
Hold on to that feelin......

Thanks again Albert, now let's go out tonight and do it again (and believe me, I won't complain about a boring win).

Let's go Cards!

So this is how it ends? Were the Cardinals even playing the same game as the Astros? So much for the whole "momentum" theory.

That was by far the single-most frustrating series I've ever endured. It's official: the Cards are the new Braves.

I'm sure I'll change my tune by next spring, but right now, I hate baseball.

I heard it said a few times before the game that if Oswalt comes out throwing well, it wipes out the momentum advantage. Well, how's 6 K's in 4 innings with nary a base hit allowed (one walk and one HBP though) for throwing well? Give credit to Oswalt. he owned us in his last reg season start at Busch, and it continued in this series. He deserved the NLCS MVP award.
